We were shooting at Naval Air Station North Island this weekend with Katie and William. Getting married on the beach has got to be the ultimate in romantic (in spite of the sand.)

 The contrast between the beach and dress blues is a lot of fun. But it got even better as Katie surprised William with a second dress. William had a hand in picking one but Katie found another beautiful one so decided to surprise him. That was not his only surprise for the afternoon as an old bud who wasn’t going to be able to make it actually did show up. Finally, as if on cue, an F18 took off from the runway just behind us and did a fast pass over the wedding. Now I am sure that the Navy did not plan this just for them but isn’t it great to have your on personal fly-by at your wedding? I’m just sayin…

 The evening was capped with a good food and dancing and that original dress that was also stunning . The Island Club served as the venue for our gala evening. Then, back to reality for a beautiful couple.
